Note that this is "make autoconf" as the build system has the configure script in an src/auto/ subdirectory and this special Makefile target is used to update it. I don't know the exact reasons for this uncommon layout, but I follow what is documented in the Makefile and build instructions. Thanks for the hint with autoconf.dir anyway, updated in r64544.
