Another project manager seems to have taken exception to those
changes, which I've already committed. So now I'm confused. I believed
I was doing the right thing by making these perl5 ports consistent
with the others and with the guidelines in the MacPorts Guide ("never
use depends_lib in ports belonging to a PortGroup or it will overwrite
the default library dependencies").
