Hey, I just tried compiling macports after installing Xcode on Lion. I get this:
[~/tmp/MacPorts-2.0.1]$ ./configure --prefix=/Users/daniel/local/macports --with-no-root-privileges checking build system type... x86_64-apple-darwin11.1.0 checking host system type... x86_64-apple-darwin11.1.0 checking target system type... x86_64-apple-darwin11.1.0 checking MacPorts version... 2.0.1 checking for sw_vers... /usr/bin/sw_vers checking for defaults... /usr/bin/defaults checking for xcode-select... no checking Mac OS X version... 10.7.1 checking Xcode version... 3.2.4 checking for gcc... gcc checking whether the C compiler works... no configure: error: in `/Users/daniel/tmp/MacPorts-2.0.1': configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details Any ideas? Config.log doesn't have anything of interest. (exit 77) I had to put /Developer/usr/bin to find the tools at all. -- "America was founded by men who understood that the threat of domestic tyranny is as great as any threat from abroad.
