yes. that's currently our practice.

I think we had decided some time ago that ports "weren't allowed" to depend on
the p5-foo ports but needed to depend directly on a version'd p5 port
(reproducibility, consistency, etc.)
I still think the real solution here is to just stop trying to support multiple
perl versions.
