There are tarballs with source code available from https://gitlab.com/DavidGriffith/frotz/-/releases I maintain the gitlab-runner port which is also built from such a tarball: https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/blob/master/devel/gitlab-runner/Portfile Nils.
