sadly, today, flang is pretty much useless for us. It can only process source and send it off to another fortran compiler ( a commercial one from the company that donated flang to the community) to be compiled.
But obviously that will disappear in due course, and flang will work independently of any external supports. I’m not sure exactly when that will happen, but the pressure is on at present, at least for Apple systems, so YNK. Ken
