Thank you for the reply, Josh. Of course you are right.
That message said that the buildbot will be offline, and I stopped
reading there. I overlooked the part which preemptively answered my
question: "This will also delay updates of the rsync server. If you
update a port, it will not sync to the public until I bring buildbot
back online."
As of now, 10 hours after my previous message, my updated Portfile is
available by `sudo port selfupdate`.
