Marking ports as obsolete is only useful if there is a replacement. I don’t
believe there is an explicit way to mark a port as deprecated or abandoned
apart from ’nomaintainer’. Otherwise the only only options are leaving them or
removing them.
There is the "deprecated" portgroup, which basically just adds some
notes explaining the port's status. In this case, setting
'deprecated.macports_support no' would be appropriate.
