Hi,

qemu recommands being compiled using gcc3. In fact, last time I checked (about a week, on qemu-0.8.2), it doesn't build with gcc4 on my Powerbook.

Please file a bug, I'll be sure to close it when upstream switches to gcc4. I can also try to include a patch just like this one (probably only for x86 then, so ppc people can keep using gcc3):
