That's why I used the list (someone at the irc channel suggested it :)).
It's frustrating for the maintainers too. ... but it's not like we are paying for hosting and support (so we're dependent on the time and goodwill of those who run macosforge :) ).
I hope you didn't take the comment as offensive :S I was just trying to point out how important is being able to get user feedback. I really value the work which is done by the people at macports.
