So should configure.cflags-append be used for the other ports that use configure.cflags? Or am I wrong in my recollection that configure.cflags-append should normally be used?
I'm pretty sure it should be configure.cflags-append instead of configure.cflags in all ports; I'll wear the blame if this makes anything b0rk :-)
