I do hope you understand, BTW, that the vast majority of ports are
never
tested on anything other than Mac OS X...
I for one would have no problem making changes to ports to
accommodate other OSes, if someone tells me what to change, but don't
have access to other OSes to figure out how to fix things if they're
broken.
