MacPorts doesn't update the build-in versions of any software; it installs new
versions of that software in different places that do not replace or affect
your built-in versions.

By design, so that it does not interfere with Apple-provided software.

You will continue to be able to use Server Admin to configure the Apple
versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL. You will not be able to use Server Admin to
configure the MacPorts versions.
