Try it out -- because you have more than one php4 installed, it should ask you
to specify which one you want to uninstall:

$ sudo port uninstall php4
---> The following versions of php4 are currently installed:
--->      php4 @4.4.9_11+apache2
--->      php4 @4.4.9_11+apache2+mysql5 (active)
Error: port uninstall failed: Registry error: Please specify the full version
as recorded in the port registry.

Here's how you could uninstall the old one:

$ sudo port uninstall php4 @4.4.9_11+apache2
--->  Uninstalling php4 @4.4.9_11+apache2
--->  Cleaning php4
