Hi -- I've been following the instructions here ( http://guide.macports.org/#development.local-repositories) to try to install GCC 4.6.1 on my Mac. I've done everything right, I think, but when I try to run the install, I get this error: Error: Unable to execute port: could not read "/Users/douglivesey/src/ports/lang/gcc461/Portfile": permission denied
I've tried chow-ing the whole of my local ports repository to my account, to root, and to nobody, but I still get the error. Could someone offer me any advice? I'm on macports 2.0 Cheers, Doug.
