It does not look like binutils are installed:

$ sudo port installed binutils
None of the specified ports are installed.

Any other idea ?

Sounds like you installed biinutils at some point,  binutils is pretty
broken on OS X, and presumably the most recent update broke it even
worse than usual.  Remove, or at least deactivate, it.
