You already have a newer version of libjpeg than 63.0.0. In jpeg 7 the developers of jpeg changed their library version numbering scheme. The library versions corresponding to jpeg releases are as follows: jpeg 6b: libjpeg.62 current version 63.0.0 compatibility version 63.0.0 jpeg 7: libjpeg.7 current version 8.0.0 compatibility version 8.0.0 jpeg 8a: libjpeg.8 current version 9.1.0 compatibility version 9.0.0 jpeg 8b: libjpeg.8 current version 9.2.0 compatibility version 9.0.0 jpeg 8c: libjpeg.8 current version 12.0.0 compatibility version 12.0.0 I do not know why the developers of jpeg did this, but they did it. _______________________________________________ macports-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/macports-users
