Could be the way to go if I don't update for a few days. I've pruned quite a few ports out recently but I've still got way over 200 ports installed & some days there can be more than several available for upgrade. As an aside, I'm just finishing up installing Vim huge with all the trimmings on Snow Leopard running in a VM on a Macbook running Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot with Mac Ports.
