You probably want to uninstall the old perl5.8 port you have installed and then install the current perl5 port (which will give you perl5.12 by default) > And, a question: doesn't Mac OS X already include Perl? https://trac.macports.org/wiki/FAQ#ownlibs -- Daniel J.
