Try this. It should rebuild oracle-instantclient and its dependents as
non-universal.
% sudo port -nR upgrade --force --enforce-variants oracle-instantclient
-universal
Of course, don't do it until after Ryan checks that the new
oracle-instantclient works as x86_64.
