This topic has come up before, but the answer is that this probably will not 
work very well. Practically nobody tests MacPorts on Linux, since it's designed 
for use only on OS X. You'll probably run into lots of problems, and have to 
figure out the solutions yourself, and then might encounter some reluctance 
from port maintainers in applying any patches you might develop, since they'll 
just complicate the port with no benefit for MacPorts' intended target audience.

There are other package managers designed to be used on Linux; you should 
probably use one of them instead.
