I'd've reported this using the "Report a Bug" link - but trac.macports.org isn't responding for the last couple days.
I'm trying to build Cassandra, and one of the dependencies is apache-ivy. Building that fails as well. I see the Portfile says: (/opt/local/var/macports/sources/ rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports/devel/apache-ivy/Portfile) platform darwin { build.env JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/Home } But on my system that directory doesn't exist. I just updated to 10.10 (whatever the code name is) The log file has an error: :info:build Error: JAVA_HOME is not defined correctly. :info:build We cannot execute /Library/Java/Home/bin/java And on my system: $ ls /Library/Java/Home ls: /Library/Java/Home: No such file or directory $ uname -a Darwin tippy 14.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Wed Jul 29 02:26:53 PDT 2015; root:xnu-2782.40.9~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
