Sorry for this newbie question. I have installed proj9 with port install proj9, yet pkg-config --exists proj does not find it. The relevant file is present in /opt/local/lib/proj9/lib/pkgconfig/proj.pc but there is no link in /opt/local/lib/pkgconfig. Should there be a link? Why does not pkg-config find it?
I think this is an error. Is the correct way to proceed to open a ticket for the proj9 port? - Henrik
