MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) running High Sierra 10.13.6.

I ran out of disk space (traced to some ginormous core files) and MacPorts
hasn't worked since.

Reinstalling MacPorts as a package made no difference; where else can I
look?

As a good net.citizen I'm using the local Aussie mirror (which has worked
for ages), but the main one (.DE) seems to be in a permanent state of
brokenness.

Thanks.
