Hi,

macos-10.14.6, macports-2.11.6, sources.conf contains:
file:///Users/raf/macports/ports

I'm changing which git commit a local Portfile is referring to,
and I'm getting this error when I try to install it:

Error: Failed to open statefile for sshdo: Could not open file:
/Users/raf/macports/ports/security/sshdo/Portfile
Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets if you believe
there is a bug.
Error: Processing of port sshdo failed

It looks a bit like this bugreport:

smake: Failed to open statefile for smake: permission denied
  https://trac.macports.org/ticket/72740

But that was fixed and this isn't the same error. That involved
old files with a different naming scheme. Here, there's nothing
in the build directory to start with. Afterwards...

The output of ls -lAR /opt/local/var/macports/build/*sshdo* is:

  /opt/local/var/macports/build/_Users_raf_macports_ports_security_sshdo:
  total 0
  lrwxr-xr-x  1 macports  wheel  44 15 Jan 17:42 sshdo ->
/opt/local/var/macports/build/sshdo-d24a54e8

  /opt/local/var/macports/build/sshdo-d24a54e8:
  total 0
  drwxr-xr-x 4 macports wheel 128 15 Jan 17:42 work

  /opt/local/var/macports/build/sshdo-d24a54e8/work:
  total 0
  drwxr-xr-x 2 macports wheel 64 15 Jan 17:42 .home
  drwxr-xr-x 2 macports wheel 64 15 Jan 17:42 .tmp

  /opt/local/var/macports/build/sshdo-d24a54e8/work/.home:

  /opt/local/var/macports/build/sshdo-d24a54e8/work/.tmp:

What should it look like? I can't see any state file.
Any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks.

It also happens with an unchanged Portfile that worked
last time I used it many months ago.

cheers,
raf
