#277: [HotCocoa] remove redundant methods (requires patch #275)

Attached patch removes the first pass at redundant methods when the patch
in but 275 is applied. I only removed the ones where the name is
identical (except in the case of alternating_row_background_colors which I
added anyway).
There are still a few methods where the names are almost the same but a
word has been dropped. Wasn't sure if we'd want to change those as well so
I left them for now.
