Hi all, we've been discussing self voicing/voice over accessible apps in another thread but I thought this might be a more compatible subject line for that discussion.
I wanted to mention an excellent package demonstrating what can be done on the mac os with regard to vo compatibility and self voicing lest I give the impression that I think all attempts to have failed. http://www.assistiveware.com has produced VisioVoice which is a screen aide for the mac bundled with the InfovoxIvox voices from Acapella group. VisioVoice can also be used with the mac os voices but when it was first developped, this was not possible. I do not work for the company, but am greatful to David and the team at Assistiveware for their efforts on behalf of visually impaired mac users. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
