Transmit is not free. That is it's only real drawback. The FTP command line option in Terminal is included as part of the system, but will doubtless prove difficult for less advanced users. While I could use the FTP option in Terminal, I find it too clunky for m y own personal taste, so use Transmit. Having options is good. :)
