Hi, Anna,

My, it has been a long time since we spoke! However, during a visit to my
parents in the States, I woke up one Sunday to Morning Edition Weekend and
heard you doing an on-the-air puzzle with the Puzzle Master. You were
spectacular!

I don't know if anyone has addressed your question, but my experience is
that once I shut down Windows, I wait about 15 seconds and then Command-Q
out of Fusion. If Windows hasn't finished shutting down for any reason, you
get a message to the effect that Fusion will return you to the state where
Windows currently is the next time you launch it. I usually Escape out of
that dialogue box and wait another ten seconds or so and then exit Fusion,
usually without any prompts of any sort. This is probably not an elegant
approach, but it works for me.

Best regards from Austria,

Mike

Hi Robert,

I tried that, but nothing happened, so Windows must be locked up as
well. It's the kind of situation where if I were using a PC, I would
turn off the computer to force a restart.

Best,
Anna
