Donna, I do agree and I think purchasing software without trying it  
first can be painful and it was.  I finally got my money back from  
ABBYY's reseller, but it did take some messages and pushing to make  
them understand why I wanted my money back.  I'd have to see some  
improvements in scanner support or at least scanner support in the  
environment in which I use my scanner.  I did not find the software  
difficult to work with really at all.
Read Iris worked pretty good and I wonder if the new version will be  
more of an improvement, but well likely when it is released, you'll  
have a chance to try it first.
