Ok, I'm extremely behind everybody here, but what exactly is different about 
Mavericks as opposed to Lion?  I don't at the moment use any 3rd-party text 
editing/security software, or run Windows on my machine, so aside from that, 
would there be a need to upgrade to it considering that?
