Hi michael, I'm also using Snow Leopard, and I just tried pressing VO-Shift-M on a Skype contact and got the regular menu with Call, send File, etc. You could try pressing VO-Command-F5 to bring mouse focus to the contact before using the command; maybe that would help. Also, are you running the latest version of Snow Leopard that came out a week or two ago? If not, that might help.
