I will have to experiment with this; I am not running ML any more but I am sure
I had two displays paired at once. Also, you say you know you can't use them
both at the same time. I'm not sure why this would be the case as you can have
more than one bluetooth keyboard, etc running at the same time and working with
the same computer or device. Since there is reference to a primary braille
display in the braille settings, the intent does appear to be that more than
one can be paired at a time though I realize intent and reality may not always
match. Also, I think if you pair something via the bluetooth category instead
of through voiceover utility, this can mess things up though I'm not sure; it
will show up as a device in bluetooth but should always be paired through
braille from what I understand. One time I accidentally paired a display
through bluetooth rather than from voiceover utility and as I recall I ended up
having to delete it completely and start over. I actually can't test this now
as I just sold my refreshabraille and only have my Braille edge to use on the
Mac though my old Braillelite and old BRAILLEnote MPOWER both work in terminal
with brltty but of course don't work with voiceover.
