Hello, I posted about a problem a few weeks ago about my computer freezing when I'm editing a file. I am not able to find a solution, so was thinking of reinstalling the OS to see if this fixed it.
But can someone walk me through doing this? Do I have to restore my data afterwards? I have Time Machine backups of everything. So what exactly do I do to reinstall, and if it deletes all my data, how do I then restore it? Sorry, I've never done this before. About how long does it take?
