Hi all, When you first setup Mac OS X 10.10, there is no sound for raising/lowering sound volume. under System Prefs, sounds, you can check the box to give you tones when changing the volume.
As for the dictation sound, I am not sure, it all seems to work fine for me. I get the siri dictation sound effects. I am running an 27” iMac from this May, and a 15 macbook pro rent from last april 2013. Both systems are running os x 10.10 exceptionally well. no lag in my samantha compact voice that I prefer.
