Hi,

You can set up a Folder Action for your Downloads folder.

• Go to the Finder.
• Press cmd-shift-h to open your Home folder.
• Select the Downloads folder.
• Press VO-shift-m to bring up the Contextual menu.
• Choose Folder Action Setup.
• Interact with the Table and select “Add Item Alert”.
• Make sure the “Enable Folder Actions” checkbox is checked.
• Close the setup window and you should be done.
