On Mavericks, it seems to work fine. Can’t say for sure on Yosemite.
It’s always been that the first 2 button’s won’t say anything but pop-up. But 
both buttons have help tags.
The first button would be where to copy from, and the second, is where to copy 
too. There is a button that will say just. Button, however, that’s to copy 
without password authentication.
Otherwise, it seems ok.
As far as Time Machine (TM) goes, you will need to turn off time machine, and 
format your drive. Though, SuperDooper will do that as well, if you use Smart 
Update.
