Hi,

How about, instead of copying the folder into your Home directory, you copy it 
into the "Automatically Add to iTunes” folder.  Items placed in this folder 
will be instantly moved into the appropriate locations within iTunes.  To 
locate this folder, go into your Home directory, Music, iTunes,  and iTunes 
Media.  The “Automatically Add to iTunes” is right there.
