If it shows up in the dock, do fo-shift-m there and find options and make sure 
start at login is unchecked. Then reboot your computer.

Thanks. Yes the program is showing in Mission Control yet when I VO space or 
hit return in mission control on it and do a VO F2 I am told there are no 
windows but something is definitely there as I hear the ding when I try and do 
anything at all, how in the world do I quit whatever this awful program is
