What is a sounder? I have a second generation Apple TV. I have a HDMI cable connected from the Apple TV to the TV and an optical audio cable connected from the Apple TV to a Bose SR1 soundbar. Audio only media such as iRadio and media air played from my iPhone works great with the TV powered off. But, video such as Netflix doesn't play without my TV turned on. Hope this makes sence. By the way, I have no issues with media or VoiceOver stuttering or any think of cutting in and out. Rod Sent from my iPhone with dictation software. Please excuse any errors.
