In terminal you can do this with rsync. Maclife wrote up an article on how to do this here:

http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/using_rsync_keep_your_files_sync_0

basically it comes down to doing a command like this:

rsync –ra SourceDirectory DestinationDirectory

All the volumes you mount on OSX appear under /Volumes/ so, with your NAS mounted you should find it there.

Hi everyone. Is there an accessible program to synchronize files from a Mac to
a NAS Drive? I have been previously using Sync Toy in Windows to sync files
from the NAS drive to an external drive. Is there an accessible app for the
Mac that would let me do this and give up Windows for this task? Thanks in
advance.
