Hello GiGi, I do have PDFPen Pro version 6.3.2. In some cases PDFPen does give me the option to OCR text, which is fine. However, in other cases (as in the one described) PDFPen does not consistently give me the feature to OCR text. Thus, I am left in a predicament because of my irregular experience with using PDFPen to OCR text, and the document in question is too large to simply print and scan with proprietary software.
I have tried using Prizmo on the Macintosh, but the results are not great. Furthermore, I do observe (at least in this case) that when trying to open the document in Preview or another program, the optically recognized text reverts back to "image status," which is less than ideal because I am back at square one. Therefore, I am at a loss. Welcome any feedback concerning my issue.
