Microsoft just updated the office 2015 preview and it now seems to work with
VoiceOver quite a bit better. I had a brief play with Word and the document
is now readable, and formatting information - spelling errors, font, etc are
exposed properly and can be seen. It also announces it automatically when it
changes, so you know when you’re moving into a heading or whatever. Links
and tables also seem to work and you can select across pages, unlike with
iWork I also briefly looked at Excel and VO now recognizes the grid, so
things seem to be better there as well.
