When you go into Airport Utility, you will see an option for devices not on your network. It will be a hexadecimal name (I think) and you click it and then edit it. You'll go through the setup process like that. Anybody else' Express will already be configured, so it won't show up for you--I don't think. At any rate, I don't think you'll have a problem with it.
