Hello Joe,

If you Google this, you will find that there are two basic ways to accomplish
your goal.

The first method is to use your web browser to log into your gMail account and
export your Contacts List as a vCard file; then, log into your iCloud account
and import that file. As there are hundreds and hundreds of easy to follow
step-by-step articles on this, I will not list them here.

The second method, which is the one I use, when moving people from an Android
device to an iPhone, is to attach the vCard file that was created when
exporting from gMail, to an email and send that email to the device to which I
want to import the Contacts.

In short, if you open a vCard attached file on an iPhone, and presumably in the
Mail application on the Mac although I have not personally done so, a dialog
box appears asking if you want to add the list of Contacts to your Contacts
list. Simply confirm this option and you're done.

Good Luck,

Mark

Subject: how to copy contacts from one account to another?

I've got contacts that I accidentally created under my gmail account, but want
to transfer them to my iclouth account, without having to reenter everything
into the contacts app under my icloud account. I'm sure there's a way to do
this, but how? :)
