Well, there has been speculation in the tech press the last couple of years about getting rid of the home button. If it is true that they don't need it for touch ID or for accessing multitasking, why have it? The obvious answer as far as we are concerned, is that we use it for triple click home. And so do some other folks with disabilities. But if that is the only reason for the home button, I predict it's gone. Why keep it question they could have more screen real estate if they got rid of it.
