I went to the VoiceStream website, and read in the frequently asked questions
the recommendations for what to do if you were having problems restoring
previously purchased voices. In order to access a different network, which they
recommend if you're having a problem, I turned off Wi-Fi and try to get the
voices using the T-Mobile LTE network. The same result. Downloading failed. I
then re-enabled Wi-Fi and tried downloading again. As was the case with the
very first time I tried downloading a voice, I got to 87%, then I got the
failure notice. Subsequent attempts at downloading result in immediate failure
notice. No 87% no percent of any kind. I can't imagine what's going on here.
But I don't think it is my Wi-Fi network. Again, I have tried with more than
one voice. Only the first attempt at downloading gives me any progress before a
failure notice occurs. I even reentered my iTunes password. If you double tap
on restore voices, even though it doesn't say it is a link, it does ask for
your iTunes password. I should say your iTunes Store password. Anyway, I
reentered that and it's not helping. If anybody has any ideas what I need to
change on this phone, I am all ears.
Mary
