I am confused about the use of touch ID in places like the iBooks store, app
store or iTunes store. I thought I was set up for that. But I just purchased an
iBook. I hit the buy button and was prompted to sign in with my password. I put
my finger on the home button for touch ID, nothing happened. So I signed in
the usual way and the book was purchased. Now I don't have a problem signing
in. I have been doing it for a long time. But I am confused as to how this
touch ID thing is supposed to work. There must be some setting I am missing. Or
I just don't understand its operation.
