Since the upgrade to El Capitan, a friend has been unable to save attachments using the Save Attachments option in the File menu. When attempting to save attachments using this method, it appears that all is as it should be until the Save button is pressed at which time a dialog appears stating that the attachments could not be saved. A variety of different file types have been tried to no avail. While it is still possible to save attached files after interacting with the text in the open message, this means that the attachments would have to be saved one at a time.
