Hi If you go stand alone, get a ix 500 fojetso they work great -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Jim Gatteys Sent: Tuesday, November 03, 2015 05:00 To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: stand alone or all in one
Hi all! A few days ago I asked about the all-in-one printer/scanner/copier machines. I still have not made a decision but was wondering if I got a stand alone scanner and separate printer if anybody has recommendations for scanners. I have ABBYY fine reader for my mac and like it pretty well. Also have access to Kurzweil so could use it as well. Which brings up another question about fine reader, I wonder if there is any way to tell the page orientation, like Kurzweil has that keystroke that will tell you "top of the page is at the right edge of the scanner." That would be a nice feature if that's not available. Thanks, Jim -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
